Three siblings found dead in freezer in Anambra community
In Nnewichi, Anambra State, three children were tragically killed and their bodies were found inside a deep freezer. The victims, siblings aged 9, 7, and 5, were left home alone by their mother, Mrs. Chikazor Ejezie, who went to take an exam. When she returned, she saw the apartment door wide open, which was unusual. After searching everywhere for her children, she opened the freezer and was shocked to find their lifeless bodies squeezed inside.
The father, Mr. Udobi Ejezie, who works in Edo State, rushed home after hearing the terrible news from his wife. He explained that the children had been eating when the attackers came, as plates of food were found abandoned. The family lives in a bungalow with two other tenants and the landlord. The police have been informed, and the children’s bodies have been taken to a mortuary.
The tragedy has left the parents devastated. Mrs. Ejezie reportedly collapsed when the bodies were being removed from the freezer. The police have not yet responded to inquiries about the case, and it is unclear who committed the crime or why. The community is mourning the loss of the innocent children, while the family struggles to cope with this heartbreaking event.
