A Nigerian man has been sent to the United States to face charges in a case about sextortion, which is connected to the death of a 17-year-old boy from America. The man, named Hassanbunhussein Abolore Lawal, is 24 years old and comes from Osun state in Nigeria. Nigeria: Car Accident Kills One, Injures Another on Lagos-Badagry Road

Image
A car accident on Lagos-Badagry Road has killed one man and badly injured another. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Badagry said the crash happened because the car was speeding. The Unit Commander, Mr. Williams Manga, said they got a call for help at 8:40 pm, about 10 minutes after the accident. “When we got there, we saw it was one car, a Lexus with no number plate. The driver lost control because he was driving too fast. He died, and the other person in the car got serious injuries like broken bones,” Manga explained. But when the rescue team tried to take the dead body to the hospital, the victim’s family and some local youths stopped them. They blocked the road and said the body should not go to the mortuary. “They became violent and did not let our team do their job, so we had to leave to avoid more trouble,” Manga said. He asked people to work with rescue teams during emergencies to make their job easier. He said stopping officials from doing their work makes things worse.

Nous n’avons rien pu faire. » Le procureur spécial, Mario Mètonou, a rappelé au tribunal que, selon la loi, les accusés ne peuvent être interrogés sans représentation légale. Il a suggéré que le tribunal demande au bâ...
